The problem:

Kernel Global had the expertise, credibility, and reach, but the brand identity across its four divisions (Kernel Global, Dartmouth Partners, Pure Search, and Catalyst) was fragmented and inconsistent. Each site felt like it came from a different company, with a disconnected tone of voice, messaging, and brand experience. They needed a cohesive, overarching strategy that would unite the group while allowing each brand to retain its own character. And they needed a partner who could navigate the nuance, from finance to tech, from client-facing polish to candidate-facing warmth.

The solution:

We became their embedded strategic partners, striking the balance between bold creative thinking and brand consistency. We immersed ourselves in the business, understanding the audiences, brand personalities, and global nuances. Through in-depth workshops and collaborative working sessions, we developed a cohesive content and messaging strategy that flexed across all four brands. From there, we led the creative direction and crafted bespoke copy for each site, aligning tone, refining positioning, and building out messaging that spoke directly to both clients and candidates without sounding templated or generic.

The process:

We’d love to say it was smooth sailing, but this project had its fair share of riptides. Each site was a content giant, packed with detailed industry pages and layered messaging. As the scale became clear, timelines needed to flex, but the client trusted our process, and we stayed close throughout. We supported everything from content planning to translation and cultural strategy, making sure every word landed with clarity and relevance across global markets. The result? Four websites that not only look and sound like they belong to the same family, but also rank for SEO and resonate with both candidates and clients.
