The problem:
Bloom Connect wanted to realign their brand across Australia and Hong Kong with an ambitious goal: to become the go-to platform connecting small businesses with conscious customers. But they weren’t just a marketplace, they were building a movement around ethical commerce, which meant their brand needed to resonate with two very different audiences. It had to feel trustworthy and appealing to business owners selling through the platform, while also looking fresh and engaging to everyday customers shopping online. On top of that, the identity needed to flex across two culturally distinct markets and be supported by a high-performing, user-friendly website.
The solution:
We built a brand identity that balanced warmth, clarity, and trust. From colour palettes to iconography, every visual element was designed to feel human, confident, and welcoming. We positioned Bloom Connect as more than just a sales platform, this was a brand with purpose, helping small businesses thrive. The website was a crucial part of this experience. We designed a digital home that was intuitive for both buyers and sellers, with a user experience that made navigating products and managing shopfronts feel simple and seamless. Every detail, from homepage layouts to checkout flows, was carefully considered to support real people on both sides of the marketplace.
The process:
We began by defining the brand’s purpose and positioning, building a visual identity that would resonate across borders and audiences. The design system we created allowed Bloom Connect to stay visually consistent while remaining flexible enough to grow. From there, we moved into UX and UI design, mapping user journeys for both customers and business owners.
